The range of shops in the check-in/departures area is limited. For the full range of shops visit the Schiphol Plaza opposite the terminal, or go through passport control and security to Airside.
Schiphol Plaza
This is the principal shopping area before going Airside. There is a variety of outlets which have the longest opening hours in the Netherlands. Most are open between 07:00 and 22:00, every day of the year.
Finding a particular store can be time consuming for the traveler in a hurry, but the Plaza's information board gives you some clues once you have worked it out.
Departures - Airside
Duty and Tax free shops are open seven days a week. They open one and a half hours before the first flight departure and close 30 minutes before last flight departure. In winter, opening is one hour before the first flight.
